Arraiolos Group meets in Krakow
The Arraiolos Group consists of Austria, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Hungary and Italy. The group’s first meeting took place in October 2003 in Arraiolos, Portugal.
The meeting of the Arraiolos Group presidents confirmed their engagement in healing the EU and support for its eastern policy, including the signing of an association agreement by Ukraine, President Bronislaw Komorowski said Wednesday in Krakow.
The 2-day meeting in Krakow was attended by the presidents of Finland, Latvia, Germany, Portugal and Italy with the Bulgarian and Estonian presidents as special guests.
Summing up the meeting Bronislaw Komorowski said the talks focused on the European crisis, transatlantic relations and the Eastern Partnership programme, especially preparation for the signature of an association agreement between the EU and Ukraine at the November Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius.
